Seattle Mayor Race Polling 2025
Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell is running for re-election in 2025. He will strive to break an unenviable streak of four straight Seattle Mayors across twenty years who either failed to win their re-election, or were forced out of the race from scandals and poor approval ratings. Harrell may have his work cut out for him - as he finished in second place in the open primary on August 5th to Katie Wilson, a community organizer who co-founded the Seattle Transit Riders Union. Wilson won a narrow majority with 50.8% of the vote, and Harrell won 41.2%. The two will face off again in the final runoff election held on November 4th.
Our polling average tracks the latest polls for the Seattle City Mayor race. We give more weight to polls that are recent, that have a large sample size, and that are from pollsters with a strong track record. We correct for pollsters’ historic bias. Internal Polls released by a campaign or their allies are also corrected for bias, and are weighed less.
